Apostle Jonathan Byrd

Apostle Jonathan Byrd is no stranger to the Rockford area, with over 30 years of experience serving alongside of Apostle Dr. Don Lyon at Faith Center Rockford and serving with fellow ministers in this community to see the transformation of the greater Rockford area. His reputation has served locally and influenced globally.

WHO WE ARE

Kingdom Center Rockford is an "Apostolic Center" in nature and characteristics to equip and launch people into ministry and functions as a family base to ministers. We follow the patterns found in Ephesians 4:11, with Apostles and Prophets being the foundation and Christ being the Chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20).

Ephesians 4:11 says, "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers. For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."

Ephesians 2:20 says, "Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone."

KCR exists to equip, train, and unite the church of this generation in revelation, impartation, activation, and awakening for the coming end-time harvest. Our intended purpose is to make ready a supernatural culture of laborers who desire to see revival and transformation of our city, state, nation, and world; through itinerate ministry, world missions, conferences, training centers, and training schools for leadership and marketplace entrepreneurs. To assist gifted leaders taught and commissioned to establish a foundational government in the local churches and businesses within their assigned sphere.

We believe that God’s truth is embodied in Christ Jesus, and that truth contains the power to set people free, and we are faithful to His truth, in thought, in word, and in action.

We adhere to biblically based moral and ethical principles and uphold these principles both in public and privately.

WHAT WE BELIEVE...

We believe that God is the creator of the universe who created both the seen (physical) and the unseen (spiritual) realms and that God the creator is also the giver of life.
We believe in the Sovereignty of God is a transcendent realm; His reign is exercised by His will, His word, and works; and authority to rule is His preexistence and holiness.
We believe that the Bible and all the scriptures within both the Old and New Testaments are the infallible and inspired Word of God.
We believe the Holy Bible is God’s word personally spoken by God for humankind for the purpose of revealing who He is, and it is without error in all issues to which it speaks.
We believe in the Trinity, one God in three Persons, consisting of Father, Son Jesus, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the death of Jesus on the cross provided complete atonement for all the sins of the world, therefore, cleansing those who choose cleansing from their sin by receiving the Holy Spirit's presence and becoming “Born Again” and accepted into the family of God.
We believe in the Supernatural power of God to cast out demons, heal the sick, and work miracles.
We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the ministry of Angels.
We hold to the Biblical truth that marriage is the covenant union between one man and

one woman.
