Continuing the legacy of Apostle Don Lyon, Apostle Jonathan Byrd and the Kingdom Center Rockford family have partnered for many years with Apostle Josiah Swen and the churches of Liberia to advance the Kingdom of God through prophetic teaching, strategic training, and community outreach.
Together, we’ve seen lives transformed, leaders equipped, and students empowered with tools helping build up a generation that can carry the vision forward.
A Legacy of Apostolic Partnership
This assignment in Liberia began through the pioneering work of Apostle Don Lyon, who faithfully laid the foundation of Kingdom ministry in the region. We are honored to continue building upon that foundation with our covenant brother Apostle Josiah Swen, who leads the work on the ground with faithfulness and vision. He has also ministered at Kingdom Center Rockford and is a trusted voice and co-laborer in Christ.

Our 2026 Assignment
In January 2026, Apostle Jonathan Byrd will return to Liberia to strengthen the saints through teaching and impartation, continuing the apostolic work he has faithfully sown in past visits.
This mission carries a special mandate: to commission one of the pastors at Seed Faith Ministries, under Apostle Josiah Swen, into the office of Apostle.
This commissioning marks a historic moment for the church in Liberia, affirming God’s governmental order and raising up leaders to carry the apostolic mantle forward. Alongside this, Apostle Byrd will minister in services, impart Kingdom revelation, and equip believers to walk in their God-given authority.

Building a Computer Lab for Liberia’s Future
Apostle Josiah Swen and Seed Time Ministries are in the process of building a computer lab for students in Liberia. This lab will provide access to technology, education, and resources that many have never had before.
